WE RECOGNIZE THAT THE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH ARE SHARED:


Pacific Scaffold Co. Inc. is committed to creating a safe and productive work environment for all team members,

subcontractors, and clients. We accept the responsibility for developing a safe work culture, instilling company standards, and leadership, educating our team in health and safe practices.


Team members are responsible for ensuring that all operations are performed with the utmost regard for the safety and health of all personnel involved, including themselves.


Supervisors are responsible for developing the proper attitudes toward safety and health in themselves and in those they supervise.


  • NEVER DO ANYTHING THAT IS UNSAFE FOR ANY REASON. IF AN UNSAFE CONDITION IS FOUND, REPORT IT TO YOUR SUPERVISOR. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, ASK SOMEONE ON THE TEAM.


  • DO NOT PERFORM ANY WORK TASK UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN TRAINED TO DO SO PRIOR TO ASSIGNMENT.

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. IF UNCLEAR ON PROCESS OR PROCEDURE, GET HELP, ASK YOUR SUPERVISOR FOR GUIDANCE.


  • USE YOUR PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT (PPE) AT ALL TIMES WHEN WORKING. REPLACE YOUR PPE’s IF OVERLY WORN OR DAMAGED.


  • USING OR WORKING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, CANIBUS, OR ILLEGAL DRUGS IS STRICTLY

PROHIBITED AND IS CAUSE FOR SUSPENSION OR DISMISSAL. TEAM MEMBERS SHOULD NOTIFY THEIR            SUPERVISOR IF TAKING A PRESCRIPTION OTC DRUG THAT MAY AFFECT THEIR ABILITY TO SAFELY PERFORM THEIR WORK.


  • BE SAFE, COURTEOUS, AND RESPECTFUL TO ALL TEAM MEMBERS AND CUSTOMERS.


  • HORSEPLAY, AND FIGHTING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.


  • MAINTAIN AWARENESS OF POTENTIAL HAZARDS WHEN WORKING AT A JOBSITE OR AT THE YARD.


  • INSPECT ALL SCAFFOLD COMPONENTS DAILY BEFORE WORKING. DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT IS NOT TO BE USED.


  • BE A SAFE AND COURTEOUS DRIVER. DRIVE DEFENSIVELY AND OBEY ALL TRAFFIC AND HIGHWAY LAWS.


  • MAINTAIN A CLEAN WORK ENVIRONMENT AT ALL TIMES. REPLACE TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES AFTER

USE.
